Dighton-Rehoboth won its second straight of the season with a 49-0 victory over New Bedford Voke, 49-0.
The ground attack of the Falcons was immense, led by Dennis Monteiro’s 88 yards and three touchdowns. Steve Silvia, Reis Foley and Marcus Moss all added touchdowns on the ground in the win.
Quarterback Harrison Pray had a passing touchdown to Silvia for D-R.
Silvia had his imprints all over this game as he also had an interception for a defense that only allowed the Bears to cross midfield once.
Seekonk 47, Bourne 19
It took Seekonk a little while to get the offense going as this one was knotted at 13-13 for a little while in the second quarter, but the Warriors exploded for 26 second half points in the win.
Terry Smith threw for 350 yards and six touchdowns. Shane Smith hauled in ten passes including five touchdowns.
Brett Mancini accounted for 160 yards of offense – 85 on the ground, and 75 through the air – and two touchdowns.
Defensively, Mancini and Ryan Riordan each collected fumble recoveries.
The Warriors improved to 4-2 with the win.
