When one thinks about this new era Case football program the words gritty, talented and dedicated come to mind. That goes for the roster and the coaches who have helped foster a winning culture over the past few seasons.

Fourth-year head coach Anthony Palladino looks to continue to lead the Cardinals winning ways and become a mainstay at the top of the South Coast Conference – small standings.

“Our goal every year is to compete for a SCC-small title and make the playoffs,” said Palladino. “We want to become a perennial power in the area.”

The Cardinals had some razzle-dazzle ability last season with Brendan Costa under center. With Costa now playing collegiately at Bates, Devin Proulx will now slide in at quarterback and look to lead the Cardinals offensive attack.

The Case offensive backfield will be spearheaded by all-SCC selections Chris Costa and Jeremy Thiboutot.

Consistent work and performance is the message from the coaching staff.

“We need to continue build on the recent success and continue to work toward becoming a consistent program year in and year out,” said Palladino.

The Cardinals kick off the season with back-to-back non-conference games. Case will visit Bristol-Plymouth on Friday, September 8th for a 7:00PM kick-off. The Cardinals will host Diman on Friday, September 15th at 7:00PM.
